Reverend Neil Allenbrand

Welcome from Reverend Neil Allenbrand

Greetings in the name of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ!  We are pleased that you have chosen to visit our web site and we pray that you will be informed and blessed with what you discover here.  One of life's greatest pleasures is the opportunity to meet new people and cultivate lasting friendships.  That is especially true in a growing church like ours, so we endeavour to never take lightly the people that God brings across our path.  Through our worship, fellowship, discipleship, evangelism and various ministry programs we offer numerous opportunities each week to connect with God and other believers, grow in Christ-likeness and serve God.  We look forward to seeing you soon!

Penticton Church of the Nazarene

About Us

The Penticton Church of the Nazarene began in 1949 in a one room church on Van Horn Street with the arrival of our first Pastor Warren Boyd.  A small church was purchased in 1949 on the corner of Ellis & Eckhardt with eleven charter members working hard to get the church established. The church experienced good numerical growth and it became evident that the current building and property was no longer large enough so in 1970, under Reverend Cyril Palmer new property with a parsonage was bought at the current location on Jermyn Avenue.  Under the leadership of Reverend Henry W. Houseman a new building was built and dedicated in 1976.  The mortgage was burned in 1988 with the farewell of Reverend Bill Bahan, who successfully spearheaded the project to have the property paid for prior to his departure.  Reverend Neil Allenbrand and his family arrived shortly after to provide leadership and continued guidance to the present day.
