Hello friends,
I am writing to inform you of NCM's response to the recent earthquakes in Venezuela and how Canadians can support through prayer and giving.
A temporary landing page has been created on NCM Canada's website for this emergency. You can find it here:
Venezuela Earthquake Response | NCM Canada. If there are questions on your districts about a response through the Nazarene church, I suggest you share the link, which has been catered to Canadians. This landing page will be updated as information continues to trickle in.
We will be posting the link on NCM Canada and Church of the Nazarene Canada social media platforms. We have found that Canadians sometimes get confused with so much information that is put out on social media, since they also follow US-based Nazarene ministry pages. We are continuously working with our friends in the US to help make things smoother for Canadians and to avoid confusion, especially when giving. This landing page on NCM Canada's website is one of those ways.
Feel free to share the link above with churches on your districts by email, or in whichever way is helpful. Amplifying our social media posts will go a long way in this effort, as well.

Nazarene Missions International (NMI)
Missionary work has always been important at The Penticton Church of the Nazarene as we reach beyond our walls. We collect and box items to ship to our Compassionate Ministries Warehouse (www.crwarehouse.ca/) in Victoria, write letters and cards to LINKS missionaries and sponsored children and read books on missionaries. As a local church we stay current with global needs and disasters. We network with those in the field; supporting and sending supplies. Our church also enjoys sponsoring children through Nazarene Compassionate Ministries.
